Dianto Reed Quintet, Revelation of Classical Music in Spain with the 'Emerging Ensemble' Award FestClásica 2024

Dianto Reed Quintet, the most promising Spanish chamber music quintet in Europe, has won the ‘Emerging Ensemble Award FestClásica 2024’ and will be the breakthrough group in classical music in Spain with their program ‘Pour la Postérité.’

The chamber music group, composed of María González (oboe), Ovidi Martí (saxophone), María Losada (bassoon), Erick Steven Rojas (bass clarinet), and María Luisa Olmos (clarinet), has received one of the sector’s most prestigious awards, granted by the Spanish Association of Classical Music Festivals (FestClásica) with the support of INAEM.

It’s an annual award aimed at promoting the presence of Spanish musicians and music among its 45 member festivals across 16 regions. It provides a unique platform to foster new proposals, enabling Dianto Reed Quintet to tour the association’s festivals in 2024, along with financial support.
