María González Bullón

Oboe

Born in Madrid (1996), she began her musical studies at the age of eight at the ‘Conservatorio Profesional Teresa Berganza’. After getting the bachelor’s diploma from ‘Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid’ (RCSMM) in 2019, she got admitted to the ‘Conservatorium van Amsterdam’, where she got her master’s degree with Miriam Pastor Burgos as main teacher.

She was part of young orchestras in Spain like JOSC (Joven Orquesta de Castellón), OSUPM (Orquesta sinfónica de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) and OSUCM (Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

She has collaborated with jongNBE (Jong Nederlands Blazers Ensemble), UYO (Utrecht Youth Orchestra) and Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia (Fundación Excellentia), among others.

Ovidi Martí Garasa

Saxophone

Born in Vall d’Uixó, Castellón (1996). He started playing in wind bands from his early childhood, where he developed an extraordinary technique and ability to play with other wind instruments. He studied in ‘Conservatori Mossen Francesc Peñarroja and Conservatori Superior de Música de Castelló’. Influenced by the old masters, the idea of a dark, powerful and round sound and wide vibrato he had in mind, lead him to study with Arno Bornkamp in Amsterdam. He obtained his master’s degree in 2021.

He has been part of different musical groups like NBE, Ricciotti Ensemble, National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, CvA Symphony Orchestra and jongNBE (Jong Nederlands Blazers Ensemble), among others.

María Losada Burgo

Bassoon

Born in Lugo, Galicia (1996), she began her studies at ‘Conservatorio Profesional de Música Xoán Montes’. She studied her bachelor at ‘Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón’, Zaragoza, and she got her master’s degree at ‘Conservatorium van Amsterdam’, with Simon Van Holen as her main teacher. She also did the Instrumental Specialization Course in Bassoon at ‘Escuela de Altos Estudios Musicales de Galicia’.

She collaborated  with several orchestras and chamber music ensembles, such as Nederlands Blazers Ensemble and Symphonic Orchestra ‘Ciudad de Zaragoza’, among others.

She has been member of the Jong Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (jongNBE) and the Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), among other several youth orchestras.

Erik Steven Rojas Toapanta

Bass clarinet

Born in Quito, Ecuador (1994). He moved to Valencia (Spain) where he began his musical career at the ‘Conservatorio Joaquín Rodrigo’, Sagunto, and later his bachelor at the ‘Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón’, Zaragoza. In 2017 he moved to Amsterdam to pursue his master’s degree in clarinet/historical clarinet at ‘Conservatorium van Amsterdam’, under the guidance of Harmen de Boer and Frank van den Brink. With an enormous interest in bass clarinet, he started to specialize with Davide Lattuada.

Erik has collaborated with a multitude of ensembles and orchestras; National Young Orchestra of Netherlands (NJO), Netherlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE), De Nieuwe Philarmonie Utrecht, Dutch National Opera, Residentie Orkest, Radio Filharmonish Orkest and Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, among others.

María Luisa Olmos Ros

Clarinet

Born in Torrepacheco, Murcia (1996), she started her clarinet studies at the age of 8 in her hometown. In 2017, she obtained her Bachelor Degree at ‘Conservatorio Superior Oscar Esplá’ (Alicante) and moved to the Netherlands to study her master’s degree at ‘Conservatorium van Amsterdam’, where she graduated in 2020.

She has been a member of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra since 2016, and has been a reserve member at the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) and the West Eastern Divan Orchestra. She won the First Prize at Yamaha Music Foundation in Europe (2018) and at XVII Concurso Nacional de Jóvenes Intérpretes de Xativa (2016).

Furthermore, she is an official substitute at Symphony Orchestra of Mallorca and has collaborated with professional orchestras as Phion Orkest van Gelderland & Overijssel, Mallorca Chamber Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica Región de Murcia, Nederlands Bedeleindingorkest, Dutch National Opera Academy and Orquesta Sinfónica de Bankia. Besides, she has been selected as clarinet teacher by the Secretaria General Iberoamericana (SEGIB) to participate in educational projects in Guatemala (2018) and Chile (2019).
