Spanish summer music in Gelderland
This year’s Muziekzomer Gelderland has a Spanish twist. Dianto Reed Quintet brings an exciting Spanish program in Gelderland entitled A la fresca.
Dianto Reed Quintet is a sparkling, young and energetic ensemble consisting of a nice combination of 5 different wind instruments. They are the winners of ‘Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours 2021’, ‘Storioni Concours 2021’ and finalists of the ‘Dutch Classical Talent’. Their concerts stand out because of the fusion of very strong energy and contrasting elements.
Oboist María from Madrid, saxophonist Ovidi from Castellón, bassoonist María from Lugo, bass clarinetist Erik Steven from Ecuador and Valencia and clarinetist María Luisa from Murcia, bring an exciting Spanish program in Gelderland entitled A la fresca.
With the collaboration of the dancer Clotilde Cappelletti and the percussionist Mateo Montes, A la fresca is a celebration of life and seeking happiness everyday. Expect warm summer sounds and an energetic program with Spanish and South American composers and dance!
