Dianto Reed Quintet has just won the Storioni Competition 2021
The Final of the ‘Storioni Concours’ has just been won by Dianto Reed Quintet in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
They will be able to play live in Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, on 30th May, in the program Spiegelzaal on NPO Radio 4. In the coming season, Dianto Reed Quintet performances are also planned in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Willem Twee Podium in ’s-Hertogenbosch and TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, among others.
19 Ensembles participated in the ‘Storioni Concours’. For the preliminary round, which was held online, the participants submitted video recordings. Wouter Vossen, Marc Vossen and Bart van de Roer, the members of the Storioni Trio, selected five ensembles for the final. Four of them were eventually able to come to Eindhoven on 22nd May to participate. They played live in front of the jury in the Main Hall of the Muziekgebouw, where unfortunately no audience was allowed to be present due to corona.
